Happy Monday!

We had an awesome weekend!!! Nana got here Friday and we cooked dinner for her and the rest of my family. Saturday Alyssa and I went to Plamor to watch Daddy, Uncle AJ and Uncle Riley bowl in a tournament. Anthony missed making the top 5 cut by 2 points (pins)! He did really good though. I was proud!
Later Saturday afternoon our neighborhood had a cook out with a moonbounce and face painting for the kids. We had a great time and Alyssa was pooped after playing in the moonbounce for 2 hours! :)
Sunday I had some mommy time and went shopping at Bridge Street. It was a great peaceful time and I bought some cute things too :) We went to Mom's later in the afternoon for dinner with Nana and the fam. We are so happy to have Nana here......hoping she'll stay! :)
Tonight is Bob Jones Award Ceremony where Riley will get presented in front of everyone with his scholarships. I am so proud of him!! So we will be going to that and then tomorrow night is Graduation! Congrats Riley! We are so proud!!
I spent some time last night adding pics here so I am quite proud of myself. Hope you enjoy!
I hope everyone is doing great and hope you have a great week!

Hot Wheels

Just wanted to let everyone know Anthony bought a new ( to us) truck last Friday! He bought a beautiful 2004 Nissan Titan. He wanted to have a truck throughout the building process because we just figured it would be handy. So after 3 weeks of debating (with himself) he finally bought a truck :)
It is really nice and spacious! I will post some pics this weekend along with other overdue pics I should have posted by now. Things are still busy for us but really that is just our way of life I am beginning to think :) Saturday is a full day for us as usual and then Sunday is Mother's Day - probably go to lunch with Anthony's Mom and Dad and then have dinner with my Mom. Hopefully a nice relaxing day with the family(s). I already got my first Mother's Day card and gift - early! Thanks Dad and Cathy!! I wish you were here.
Nana is coming next Friday! I am so excited and Riley's graduating is coming up really fast! It's May 20th. Everything is coming together for Riley to go to Martin Methodist.....scholarships are getting finalized and it is looking Riley will have almost 1/2 of his tuition paid in scholarships from the school. We are so proud of him!!!
We are house hunting for AJ......looked at a cute house last night in Harvest and we are going to look inside Saturday. Everyone keep your fingers crossed that AJ gets approved for a loan to buy a house.
Other than that, things are great and we are looking forward to a fun filled summer!
Love everyone!

New House

So I am not sure if all of you know, but Anthony and I will be building a new house this year on Hwy 53 in Toney. We are very excited but know there will be alot of work to do! We finalized our house plan last night and I am now starting to imagine! I would put a pic on here but I can't yet. We actually took 2 houses and smooshed them together or we are hoping to anyway :) We are taking it to someone to draw up the plans and if all works out ok and I get a pic I will post it. We are looking to build a 2 story home with a basement - approx 2800 sq ft on the 2 main floors and then finish out the basement as needed.
We will have a pool which I am so happy about! It will be dug when the foundation is dug so there is no waiting :)
My Dad is coming down from NH to build for us too so that makes it even more special.
I will post more as more happens.......but we should start clearing the land in May (hopefully)!! :)
